To use Chatber, you need to connect at least one WhatsApp Business API account. This article walks you through the setup process.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have a Meta Business Manager account (business.facebook.com), a verified business on Meta, a WhatsApp Business API application set up in your Meta Developer Console, and your Phone Number ID, Business Account ID, and permanent Access Token ready.
Steps to Connect
- Log into Chatber and go to WhatsApp > Accounts. 2. Click the 'Add Account' button. 3. Enter your account details: a display name, your Phone Number ID, your WhatsApp Business Account ID, and your Access Token. 4. Set up the Webhook: copy the webhook URL provided by Chatber and paste it into your Meta Developer Console under WhatsApp > Configuration > Webhook URL. Also copy the Verify Token and paste it in the Verify Token field. 5. Subscribe to the 'messages' webhook field. 6. Click 'Save' in Chatber to complete the connection.
Testing the Connection
Send a test message from your personal WhatsApp to the connected business number. If everything is configured correctly, the message should appear in your Chatber Inbox within a few seconds.
Multiple Accounts
Depending on your subscription plan, you can connect multiple WhatsApp Business accounts. Use the account switcher in the top navigation bar to switch between accounts. The Starter plan includes 1 account, Growth includes 2, Business includes 5, and Enterprise offers unlimited accounts.
